Erdhof Seewalde
Viola Garnetzke, Marie Schrade and David Peacock run the farm Erdhof Seewalde between lakes and woods in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. Their mixed farm includes animal husbandry, grain production, milk processing and on-farm slaughtering, with a focus on preserving old livestock breeds. Their work experience on farms in different regions of the world – from Japan to South Africa – shaped their awareness of global issues. Minimizing the negative externalities of agriculture is therefore a priority for them.
